Golden Light: A Journey with Advanced Colorworks
Julianne Bien
The
publication of Julianne Bien's Golden Light is certainly timely.
As color light therapies are being embraced by alternative and even
some conventional practitioners, she reminds us that the potential
of harnessing color energy for our own betterment is infinitely
greater than the commercial pain-relieving tools for which it is
being touted. Of course there is nothing wrong with relieving pain,
especially since color light therapy is non-toxic, non-radioactive
and non-invasive and thus remarkably easy to apply.
However,
there is a risk people will conclude there is nothing more to it
than shining a red laser on an aching joint, when in fact a shade
of red is just one color frequency among millions, and each frequency
has its own innate potential for humanity. Blues, for example, are
cooling and soothing. Greens are calming and peaceful, and don't
all of us need more green in our lives. Read this book and you'll
get a whole new appreciation of color. The universal power of light
energy, Color Harmonics, as Bien calls her holistic and far-reach
application of color energy, is the giver of all life. Harnessing
the power opens us up to almost limitless opportunities to improve
our spiritual, emotional and physical existence. Imagine a power
so great that it empowers us, and in so doing increases our power
of self-determination. Imagine a healing power that lets us rid
ourselves of old emotional and spiritual scars at the root of current
and as yet undiagnosed future problems. Bien's quest is to help
each of us harness this power through a new understanding of universe
as multidimensional and energy-based.
Bien
takes us on a journey of exploration across the color spectrum,
explaining how different colors produce different outcomes while
providing us with protocols with which to harness the power of each,
individually or in combinations. The body is effective
at absorbing and storing energy in a way that can lead to energy
blockages that become a precursor for disease or distress. Using
Biens protocols, the user learns not only to disperse those blockages
but to maintain a healthy energy balance that will stand us in good
stead for the rest of our lives. As a relative novice in color energy
healing, I found the book excited me about the potential of color
energy work.
Bien
provides basic preparatory techniques that can improve outcomes
for novice and even experienced color energy users. She deals with
down-to-earth problems of everyday life in an approachable manner.
If you want nothing more than to troubleshoot specific physical
or emotional conditions, the book has much to offer. I suspect,
however, that those who set the most holistic and far-reaching self-improvement
goals and pursue color energy work at an advanced level will reap
far greater rewards.
A must read for all color enthusiasts worldwide
